Money Worries? Crisis Help!

Money Worries App

A new app from NHS Tayside has been designed for people who are affected by welfare benefit cuts or other money worries. Professionals who support such people can also help them to use it. It aims to make it easier to find the help you need, particularly in times of crisis. There are four main sections in the app – Money, Housing & Bills, Work and Help Now. Select the one that seems most important in your situation, and then choose from a list of further options. Choose again and you will find the contact details to get the help you are looking for. Three or four easy touches of the screen should take you to live weblinks or phone numbers, connecting you to the services you need. Developing this mobile app is part of the local action NHS Tayside are taking to help to reduce any negative health effects of welfare reform and other money problems on patients, staff and local communities.
