Sorry we cannot provide our usual face to face services to you right now but WE ARE ALL STILL WORKING, albeit from home. We are using all form of media to provide support to the people of Perth and Kinross from the humble telephone through to social media and online Zoom discussions – whichever mode is right for you.
Each team is still working hard to provide appropriate support at this time:-
The Counselling Service is providing counselling (for young people and adults) via phone and secure videocall during this time. All counsellors offering this service have undertaken additional training in working by phone and online. Clients who are utilising counselling via these methods currently are reporting that they’re finding phone and online counselling surprisingly effective. We are encouraging clients to give these methods a try. We aim to work as flexibly with clients as possible during these uncertain times. Please don’t hesitate to be in touch if you need further information - call 01738 631639 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Peer Support Service
Peer Support Workers are working from home to support you with your wellbeing, recovery journey, mental ill health or your own personal experiences. All support is over the telephone or zoom (internet platform) instead of face-to-face during lockdown. In addition to the telephone and zoom we are also facilitating a private Facebook group which is attached to Mindspace’s Facebook page. We are encouraging you all to share ideas and strategies together of what you are doing to keep well. If you would like to be part of this group ask your peer worker and they will organise an invite - enjoy it!!
If you feel peer support would be beneficial call Mindspace on 01738 639657 and ask to speak to a peer worker and one of us will call you back promptly or you can email directly on email@example.com
