Understand and manage any challenging emotions you may be dealing with, using mindfulness as a key skill.

What is involved?

This 4-week course is for people who have problems or difficulty dealing with challenging emotions. It will enable you to understand what happens to you, both physically and emotionally, when you feel these emotions.

We will identify key issues, understand how challenging emotions develop, and examine their effects on yourself and others. 

The course will teach you certain techniques to help you to deal with challenging emotions, especially being mindful, keeping a diary of how you manage situations and how to breathe through tension and stress. You will have access to written material, video talks and opportunities to manage your own specific situation.

At the end of the course, you will be able to recognise your own emotions and feel confident at managing them.
