INTRODUCTION TO YOGA FOR BEGINNERS

Start your yoga journey in a gentle yoga style suitable for absolute beginners. Together we will practice simple postures, breathwork, and mindfulness at a relaxing, comfortable pace.

What is involved?

This is an introductory session of yoga for a small group of absolute beginners led by Dorothy, a local qualified yoga practitioner.

Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual practice that is about bringing the mind and body together. It is a popular exercise to improve physical fitness and mental wellbeing. With an emphasis on relaxation and feeling good in your mind and body this session will include gentle movement and postures at a comfortable pace, in addition to breathwork and mindfulness to bring awareness to the present moment and calm the nervous system.

There is no experience required and it is not necessary to have a yoga mat as one will be provided, however please wear comfortable clothing.

Who is it for?

This is for people of any fitness level who would like to relieve stress, relax the mind, and mindfully move their bodies.
