Take some time to relax and learn the basics of meditation at our weekly meditation practice for beginners.
What is involved?
Meditation is the process of bringing awareness to the present moment. In the practice we observe whatever is happening in that moment such as, feelings, sensations, thoughts, and sounds, without judgement.
This is a skill that takes time, however regular meditation can:
• Ease stress and anxiety
• Help you get a deeper, more restful sleep
• Develop a kinder, more compassionate relationship with yourself and others.
Whether you are new to meditation or want to deepen your practice, this group will provide you with the guidance and support you need to cultivate a calm and mindful state of being. We will guide you through some simple and effective meditation techniques that you can use anytime and anywhere.

Meditation is for anyone who would like to find more contentment in the present moment. Whether you are feeling stressed, anxious, depressed, or just want to feel calmer and more balanced, meditation can help you. You don’t need any special skills or spiritual belief to meditate, just a willingness to learn and try.
