PRACTISING MEDITATION FOR BEGINNERS

What is involved?
Join our meditation group for beginners every Monday for 4 weeks to help calm your mind and practice being in the present moment. We will meditate for 10-20 minutes followed by a group discussion with tea/coffee.
Meditation is the practice of going inwards and being aware of the present moment. Regular meditation practice can help reduce stress, anxiety, improve sleep and increase self-awareness. Meditating regularly for just 2 weeks can have a significant positive impact on the brain. The mind is an incredibly powerful tool and meditation is a practice to help us manage our minds and our thinking.
This group will help you to slow down and experience your thoughts in a different way. We will practice using different meditation techniques to bring our attention to the present moment.
This group is open to anyone – including complete beginners to meditation and anyone interested in mindfulness.
Join our group for a supportive, non-judgmental environment in which to talk about our challenges and develop a habit of meditating.
