UNDERSTANDING DEPRESSION AND
SEASONAL AFFECTIVE DISORDER
Join us for an opportunity to discuss what depression means to you and learn ways to manage your mood. We will also discuss Seasonal Affective Disorder and how to manage the winter months.
What is involved?
This session will discuss what depression and seasonal affective disorder is, how it affects us, and various methods of feeling better. It will include information on sleep related issues which are common experience of feeling depressed or low in your mood.
We will use informative videos, discussion, and give ideas on ways of managing your mood. At the end of the course you will be able to understand the varying experiences of depression, have an understanding of managing the issues posed in daily life by depression and have the ability to construct your own plan of managing feelings of depression and low mood.
Please note that our courses are subject to a minimum number of sign-ups, if we do not receive the minimum number of sign-ups unfortunately the group will be cancelled.
You will be emailed a Wellbeing Form which must be completed before you start the course.
Please let us know at the earliest available opportunity if you no longer wish to attend the group and we can give your space to someone on our waiting list.

Anyone who would like to know more about depression and seasonal affective disorder, including adults with mental health difficulties, friends and carers.
