Join us for some planting, sowing seeds and tidying up the garden area.
What is involved?
Come along to Mindspace and help us in our garden! We will be planting flowers and sowing seeds, as well as clearing weeds to make the space a bright and inviting space for everyone. We will be making planters, painting pots… and much more!
Gardening is a great activity that helps keep us fit and improves our mental health. The numerous benefits include keeping fit, meeting like minded people, being part of something, being in nature, mindful practice, it’s good for your cardiovascular health, and it provides relief from stress.
Please note that our courses are subject to a minimum number of sign-ups, if we do not receive the minimum number of sign-ups unfortunately the group will be cancelled.
You will be emailed a Wellbeing Form which must be completed before you start the course.
Please let us know at the earliest available opportunity if you no longer wish to attend the group and we can give your space to someone on our waiting list.
Who is it for?
This group is for anyone who has experienced any mental health challenges. Its especially useful for anyone who has anxiety, wants to de-stress or is dealing with loneliness. It’s ideal for anyone who wants to get out, meet people in a welcoming environment and learn to manage their own mental health.
